Located between two of central London’s iconic parks, the Sheraton Grand London Park Lane is a luxurious five star hotel just a short walk away from Buckingham Palace. Boasting stunning art deco interiors and in a premier location, this is one hotel that you won’t want to check out from.

I visited the Sheraton as part of their 2024 World Book Day Celebrations. Partnering with Reece’s Book Club, the Sheraton opened a pop up library in the lobby which played host to a number of book talks and book clubs. Stocked with titles from Reece’s Book Club, it was a fantastic way for the community to come together and celebrate literature in a unique location.

Checking into my suite for the night, I was excited to learn that I was being put up in one of their most luxurious rooms. With a living room, dining area, separate bedroom and ensuite bathroom, there was plenty of space to spread out and relax which is such a treat in central London.

I was pleased to find my room completely spotless and equipped with all the necessities including a tea and coffee station with a Nespresso machine and air conditioning.

Each of the hotel rooms is furnished with an exquisite Sheraton Signature Bed, which was so comfortable that I could have stayed there all day. I loved all of the little touches; a bookmark had been left on my pillow and the desk contained hotel branded stationary.

The marbled bathroom has a separate bath and shower, complete with a double sink and Molton Brown toiletries. Whenever I stay in a hotel with a bath I always make the most of it and treated myself to a soak after dinner - perfect after a long day of walking around central London.

I woke up in the morning after a wonderful sleep and headed to the Mercante restaurant for breakfast. The waiting staff here were friendly and attentive, and I enjoyed a delicious English breakfast with sweet pastries from the buffet.

In addition to the luxurious rooms, the Grand Park View Suite also comes with exclusive Club Lounge access, with complementary food and drinks.

Pricing

The Sheraton Grand London Park Lane has a variety of rooms to suite a range of budgets. Prices start at around £300 per night for a Deluxe King Room, ranging up to £700 for the Grand Park View Suite. For a special occasion, the Grand suite costs around £2000 and is the most luxurious room in the building.

Facilities

The hotel has an onsite gym, parking and free wifi.

There’s a Club Lounge available for those who qualify and three restaurants: the stunning Palm Court which serves afternoon tea, the Mercante Italian restaurant which also provides breakfast, and a cafe named Caffe Musetti which is a great spot for working with a coffee and a laptop. There’s also an onsite bar called Smith & Whistle, which serves a variety of drinks and cocktails in addition to an extensive food menu.

Make sure you don’t miss the beautiful Art Deco ballroom, which is Grade II listed and the only one of its kind in central London. Other events spaces include the Tudor Rose and Oak Room, which are ideal for small weddings and dinners.

Location

Nestled in the heart of London’s Mayfair and between two underground stations, the Sheraton Grand London Park Lane makes an ideal base for exploring the capital.

To get there, travel to either Hyde Park Corner or Green Park underground stations and then walk for five minutes to reach the hotel.

Thank you again to the Sheraton Grand London Park Lane for hosting me and for providing a truly unforgettable experience in their fantastic hotel. It’s not every day that you get the chance to stay in a 5 star suite in central London!
