Dalton Family

To Con a Gentleman

That’s until she knocks on the wrong earl’s door and is faced with Carver Ashburn Earl of Kensworth and not the notorious rake she thinks she is approaching.

Carver is a good man, but even a good man cannot pass up an opportunity to escape his grief. What better way to avoid his feelings than to play into a con woman’s ruse and offer to marry her? Things only grow more complicated when Carver sweeps Rose off to his family estate and circumstances force them both into continuing the ruse.

Carver needs to protect his family, and Rose needs to protect herself—and her heart. With so much set against them, will Rose and Carver have a chance at love and freedom? Or is the possibility of more heartache not worth the risk?”

Seeing Mary (Novella)

At the time of writing this book appears to be out of print and unavailable.

Synopsis:

“One gaze across the ballroom changed my life forever.

Lady Mary Ashburn intends to end her Season in London the same way she has ended her past four Seasons—as a single independent woman. If it weren't for her determination to help her friend make a match, she wouldn't be in London at all. Spending the rest of her days as a spinster sounds vastly more enjoyable than having her heart ripped out and humiliated like it was during her first Season. Risking that fate a second time is not worth opening her heart up to anyone.

At least, that’s how she feels before the mysterious earl, Lord Robert Hatley, arrives in London and fills her life with a romance like she’s never known before. Torn between her growing feelings for Robert and her fear that his intentions might not be true, she must decide if she is willing to risk her heart again.

Her choice only gets more difficult to make when her first love reappears with a changed heart and a determination to win her trust and affection again. Finally receiving love from the man she could never quite let go of could not have come at a worse time.

Mary must choose between three different paths, each one at a cost that she fears will be too great.”

It is time to focus on making a match with a gentleman who will love her in return. Elizabeth is determined to quiet her adventurous heart and catch the attention of the man Society has deemed the Unobtainable.

If only Oliver wouldn’t turn up around every corner, sweeping her off her feet, rescuing her from one unfortunate mishap after another. How is she supposed to forget him if he is always reminding her of why she adores him?

Oliver Turner is sure of two things: He is deeply in love with Lizzie, and he must let her go.”

When in Rome

When in Rome

Synopsis:

“Rome is where the heart is.

Amelia Rose is burned-out from years of maintaining her public image as pop princess Rae Rose. Inspired by her favourite Audrey Hepburn film,
Roman Holiday, she drives off in the middle of the night for a break in Rome… Rome, Kentucky, that is.

Running the pie shop his grandmother left him, Noah Walker is busy enough as it is. But after finding Amelia on his front lawn in her broken-down car, he decides to let her stay in his guest room - on a very temporary basis, of course.

As the two of them grow closer, Noah starts to see a new side to Amelia - kind-hearted and goofy, yet lonely from years in the public eye. Amelia may have to go back to her other life someday, but for now she's perfectly happy falling in love with the cozy small town she's found herself in… and her grumpy tour guide isn't half-bad either.”

Sexy and tattooed Will Griffin is temporarily back in Rome, Kentucky, providing security for pop-star Amelia Rose in the build-up to her wedding to Annie's brother. He also has his own agenda: stay away from Annie Walker and
any attachments to this sleepy town, which becomes difficult when she enlists him to help fix her love life.

Amid steamy practice dates and strictly 'educational' tutoring lessons, the lines of their friendship blur and Annie reconsiders what her 'dream guy' might look like. Maybe her love life doesn't need to be perfect - it just needs to be real.”

Beg, Borrow, or Steal

This book publishes in January 2025.

Synopsis:

“Emily Walker hates having her carefully crafted world disrupted by anyone, most of all her legendary nemesis, Jack Bennett. He's the opposite of the wonderful heroes she dreams up in her double life as a romance writer, which is why Emily was perfectly happy when Jack left Rome, Kentucky, mid-school year, with his fiancée. The last thing Emily saw coming was Jack's return at the start of the summer after calling off the wedding and ending his relationship, but he's here to stay - as her colleague and her neighbour.

Jackson Bennett is glad to be back, eager to renovate his house and work on the next mystery novel under his bestselling pen name. But when he realizes he's now neighbours with the one woman who has always pushed his buttons, he discovers something he's even more excited for - thwarting Emily and her petty plans to sabotage his return.

With their chemistry-fuelled animosity at an all-time high, Emily accidentally sends an email to their school's principal that could reveal her secret literary side hustle. She needs to steal back her manuscript, and Jack - she hates to admit - is just the man to help her. Surprisingly, Jack agrees. Will their unlikely alliance put an end to their rivalry? Or could it lead to a steamy plot twist they never saw coming?”
