Stop the press - Edinburgh has a brilliant new discount bookshop!
Situated on the city’s busy Princes Street, and just a few doors down from Waterstones, Bestsellers is a discount bookshop with a brilliant range of books. From romance and crime to history and lifestyle, they stock a wide range of titles including lots of new releases and heaps of children’s books. Many of their paperbacks are priced at £2 each or 3 for £5, and I managed to pick out a lovely new hardback for £3.99.
I’m not surprised if you haven’t spotted this bookshop before; they opened their doors in late 2021 with little fanfare, and are currently scheduled to occupy their Princes Street premises until April 2022 - with the possibility of an extension. It’s definitely the sort of place you should pop into regularly and see what deals you can find.
I love a good mental health memoir, so I’m very excited to read my new purchase: Something to Live for by Laura Canty, which is all about postnatal depression.
Head down to Princes Street and have a gander at Bestsellers, you won’t regret it.
